According to the New Haven Police Department, officers were dispatched Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. to the intersection of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Plymouth Street after receiving a report of a man lying in the roadway. When first responders arrived, they found the victim suffering from severe injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity, and his exact age has not been confirmed.
